How we met

Mary detailed it all very accurately, but it was love at first sight for the two of us, just that Mary took more convincing. It took great effort to reel her in to tie the wedding knot, but eventually I convinced her. We were married outside, at Glacier Campground, August 19, 1978, and it snowed. Reflecting back, I refer to this event as the "Deadliest Catch".

Mary and I would not have wanted it any other way. We are both looking forward to staying back in the campground, only this time, not in a damp, cold tent, but in an R.V. with a furnace.

We have purchased heavy duty pepper spray for bears. Mary gets to carry it on the hiking trails. I am nervous, but Mary insists that I can trust her.
